A Safe and Loving Environment to Learn and Discover
I believe children thrive when they have a place where they feel safe, cared for, and comfortable being themselves. At Children's Corner Brigham, I provide a fun and loving in-home childcare environment where children can learn about themselves, build confidence, and feel excited about what they can accomplish.

For me, childcare is not simply about watching children throughout the day. It is about creating meaningful opportunities to learn, play, communicate, move, and develop a positive self-concept. I want the children in my care to have a comfortable place where they can explore their abilities while receiving the personal attention and encouragement they need.

Childcare Centered on the Whole Child
Every child develops in their own way. My approach recognizes that growth involves much more than learning letters, numbers, or other academic skills. Children's emotional well-being, communication, movement, confidence, and relationships with others are also important parts of their development.
At Children's Corner Brigham, I focus on several key areas: cognitive development, social-emotional wellness, physical motor skills, language skills, and Kindergarten-readiness skills.
These areas can work together throughout a child's day. Learning to communicate an idea strengthens language development. Exploring an activity can encourage thinking and problem-solving. Movement helps children develop physical abilities, while interacting with others creates opportunities to practice important social and emotional skills.

My goal is to make development part of a child's everyday experience rather than something that feels separate from play and daily routines.
A Comfortable Setting Designed for Children
The environment surrounding a child matters, too. Children's Corner Brigham is located on a quiet corner in a low-traffic Brigham City neighborhood, providing a comfortable setting away from heavily traveled areas.
The daycare has a secure entrance, adding an important layer to the arrival and departure environment. Outside, children have access to a private fenced yard with a professional playground structure, giving them a dedicated place for outdoor play and physical activity.
Inside and outside spaces provide opportunities for different parts of the day. Children can learn, interact, move, play, and rest in an environment created around their everyday needs.
The setting reflects what I want Children's Corner Brigham to feel like: welcoming, child-friendly, comfortable, and ready for both active and quieter moments.
Building Confidence Along the Way
One of the most important things I want children to develop is a healthy sense of who they are.
Children deserve opportunities to discover their interests, try new things, recognize their abilities, and feel proud of their progress. I strive to create an atmosphere where they can learn about themselves and develop a positive self-concept.
Kindergarten readiness is part of this approach, but preparation for school is about more than academics. Confidence, communication, motor development, emotional wellness, and the ability to participate in daily routines can all contribute to helping a child move toward the next stage of learning.

By supporting these different areas, I aim to give children experiences that encourage curiosity and help them feel capable.
Personal Care in an In-Home Environment
Choosing in-home childcare can give families an alternative to a larger childcare setting. At Children's Corner Brigham, care takes place in a home environment where I can personally provide the warmth and attention that are central to my approach.
I want parents to feel comfortable with the person caring for their child and with the environment their child enters each day. That personal connection is one reason I value being dependable, caring, and consistent.
My regular hours are Monday through Friday from 5:30 AM to 6:00 PM, with the possibility of extended hours upon request. I understand how important dependable childcare can be when families are balancing work and other daily responsibilities.
